Each year the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) holds a Multimedia Art contest, inviting students from around the country to use their talents to teach others about poverty in the U.S. and how we respond with CCHD.

Multimedia work in any form is eligible for the contest. For example, videos, photos, PowerPoint presentations, paintings, drawings, dramas, poems, stories, and songs.

2016 Theme

Qualifications:

1. Must be in 7-12 grades
2. Can be in any medium (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, song, poetry, etc.)
3. Must be original and illustrate the theme of "Caring for God's Creation"
4. Students must fill out and turn in the art contest submission form along with their art by February 15

All art submissions will be displayed in a gallery exhibit in April where we will announce the winners.

Grand Prize

Full tuition scholarship for summer art classes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Runners-up prizes include gift cards, sports tickets, and other fun items.
