This Thanksgiving, Archbishop Blase Cupich celebrated with St. Columbanus parish--just one of many parishes supporting their neighbors with help from CRS Rice Bowl.

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, Archbishop Cupich gathered with many volunteers at St. Columbanus church. After a brief prayer, they worked together to pass out Thanksgiving meals, complete with turkeys and all the trimmings to make a traditional Thanksgiving celebration.

"I just want to take this opportunity to wish everyone in Chicagoland a happy and blessed Thanksgiving, and let’s work for safety justice and peace in our society," the Archbishop said.

St. Columbanus food pantry is a 2015-2016 CRS Rice Bowl grantee. When you support CRS Rice Bowl this Lent, 25% of your gift will stay here in Chicago to fuel another year of CRS Rice Bowl grantees in Chicago.
